I had a fun night at work tonight. While the show was on, I got to unbox and add to inventory a buuuuunch of brand new #microphones!

We now have 8 channels of wireless mics to help better serve community groups. I'm very proud to be able to offer Broadway quality to our quests.

It's a real privilege and an honour to be a part of keeping that 122 year old #theatre running into the future.

This changes EVERYTHING!

Sennheiser is about to release a MINI 421, and I got a chance to use 3 of them tonight!

Only about 3 inches long, no M-S ring, no slider mic clip!

Most people think of #guitar and specifically #guitaramps when referring to the #sennheiser #MD421. Some folks might be old-school enough to think of #snare and #toms, #drums in general. Some might even think of #vocals or #voice in general.

I'm so tempted to get a #sennheiser #MD421 kompakt, the new model. I have a #vintage #microphone like that, probably built in the early 70s, and I'm curious to do a mic #shootout on the #didgeridoo with some #didgeridoomusic . But what will my wife say when I approach my twentieth mic? Hmm.

Early Xmas present for myself: my all time favorite #microphone, the #Sennheiser #MD421! Arguably one of the best moving coil mics ever made. The design remained virtually unchanged since 1960! Sounds great on drums, vocals, guitars, brass etc. Super versatile and extremely reliable. I think mine is from the 1960s, it still has a Tuchel (DIN) connector, hence the XLR adapter cable dangling off the end. I was looking for an affordable one for ages. 😊
