@vinyl Finally took your advice today and hunted down some #MatchingMole

It was surprisingly nontrivial to find digitally online - rare to see something from a notable classic musician missing from all the streaming services - but since #RobertWyatt was already an easy sell for me, after a few minutes of youtube listening I quickly jumped into grabbing a digital copy of March off Qobuz to try things out.

That was an hour ago; I just now wrapped up a Discogs order 💸 😄

This video came up on my YT feed last night and I am honestly blown away by it. This is so weird and so good! The drumming and the bass playing here are both so good!

Matching Mole was Robert Wyatt's all too short lived band after he left Soft Machine. The name is a play on the French translation of his former band. Robert would be paralyzed in an accident the next year putting an end to Matching Mole.
