#yegbike commute: merely cool at -5°C with basically no wind. Surfaces are almost all bare pavement, just a few minor icy patches on shady spots. Almost nothing to complain about- there is gravel around. But we have a gravel bike for that!
Traffic medium weekday light, a few people in the paths. Inner city medium busy, 3 campfires in Boyle Street area, but they seem to have gotten better fuel.
Really not much to complain about. This week is looking to be fantastic riding conditions.

#yegbike commute: pleasantly cool at -6°, again with no wind. Surfaces are surprisingly dry, the summer gravel bike gets another week. Heavy fog this morning, making a pleasantly spooky ride. That and a slight frost has the few vehicles drive almost carefully. Only a few dog walkers out and about, inner city was pretty quiet.

#yegbike commute: lovely cool temperature of -4° with no wind.
Maybe an inch of snow overnight, more like 2cm. Covers the paths nicely, the slightest bit of slog on ordinary gravel tires. Some footprints to be avoided, but quite rideable.
Main roads mushy and slushy, medium roads with good snowpack. Some ice developing at intersections, nothing terrible as yet.
Traffic light, not many people about, the snow quietens everything down for a lovely serene ride.
I think this is the last day for the summer gravel bike, from here on it’s back to the studded winter beater as temperatures cool overnight.
