I feel it is both. It gave us infinite reach but also fragmented our attention and our sense of presence.

IT website question: my partners website only loads on our phones if the WiFi is switched off (on our phones, so we're using our individual data service). On WiFi we get a loading page from goDaddy. We use Chrome on Android phones. I think it's also happening on the laptop (using Chrome). Is there an easy & logical explanation for this?

So. Here’s the thing: I loved D&D as a youth, although it’s been decades since I last played (but I still have the dice!). As a digital alternative, the only thing I’ve found that gives me the same joy are two games from Spiderweb Software: Avernum (6 separate games in the same world) and Avadon (3 games in the same world). Both give many, many (many!) hours of adventuring fun, and can be returned to and played again and again.

I’m considering trying Baldur’s Gate.

For me #mastodont has a serious design flaw that must be addressed, it needs a reserved command to escape from the local timeline...

For instance this post doesn't have any relationship with my my bsd themed instance.

To help the lives of the moderators and admins we should freed them from useless burdens such this message.

If I can use a command to say "do not post on the local timeline" because is unrelated, only the people who follow me can read me and federated time will see the message.
