Even if openness is the ideal, most people choose their own leverage before total openness. That trade-off gets easier if #OMN provides leverage, and the simplest version is promotion/advertising.

Composting might also work as a deterrent.

Where are the people using and experimenting with AI in ethical ways, with the goal of finding new useful workflows and to create cool things. The ones that still care about software?

Without trying to just get rich. Without making flop. Without riding the hype. Without using dark patterns?

I see only those who run away or abuse. Where are the missing ones? Staying quiet out of fear of public backlash and being misunderstood?
