Don’t pay more for “vegetarian eggs”‼️ My daughter runs a chicken farm on our acreage and sells organic eggs from pastured chickens (Free Range chickens are not caged, but spend their lives crowded together in large warehouse-like buildings). I have something to say about expensive, so-called “vegetarian eggs”. You know, the ones that are labeled as such and feature a premium price. It’s a marketing device folks… Chickens NEED protein, and when pastured they scratch for grubs, worms, and eat insects - it’s what they do FFS. They’ll even eat each other if one shows signs of weakness or disability (un-huh, carnivorous creatures they are). And eggs just taste better when hens are properly nourished, and that means they’re getting proteins as well as greens and grains. #eggs #chickens #farming #MarketingBS #scams
