Ich hab im Soundsystem von Linux etwas verstellt und erhalte keinen Sound. Die Ursache liegt im Homeverzeichnis des Nutzers, denn wenn ich mich als anderer Nutzer anmelde, funktioniert alles bestens.
In welchen Verzeichnissen muss ich nach dem Fehler suchen? Bzw. gibt es eine Möglichkeit, das Soundsystem für den User auf die Grundeinstellungen zu resetten?

With all of the 6+ kernels (and possibly some earlier ones) I would bring up sound with pipewire or jackd and it would work fine for minutes or hours, and then randomly go silent with no errors. It seems to work now with 6.1.20!
It's not clear to me from the changelogs what fixed it. Maybe that io_uring polling check?

Jack2, Cadence, PulseAudio, PulseAudio over the network with Zeroconf (Avahi), Qsynth/FluidSynth, and Rosegarden : everything working flawlessly to play MIDI, record and play my digital piano, and, of course, play online videos!

Would’ve have thought, especially the Jack + PulseAudio combo.
