Fedoraが日本語漢字変換をKKCからAnthyにした理由は、これか

mozcに移行しなかった理由は「UIがQtだから」と書いているけどmozcはビルド自体の問題もあるし、そうなるとメンテされているAnthy-unicodeしかないということか

Changes/ibus-anthy for default Japanese IME - Fedora Project Wiki

Hey #Linux nerds,

I'm learning Japanese and just installed Cinnamon Mint 21.3 last week.

I'm using https://github.com/ueno/libkkc to type and I haven't a gd clue how to get the kanji to work for 'watashi' but it works fine for other words.

Idk where the bug is and I profoundly lack the knowledge to test something that might span two new systems. IDK whether it's my limited knowledge of either or both, or just an option I'm still missing in the preferences.

aaaaand now it's just not working at all. great. I was going to use the hasshtag for nihongo, but now it's assigned individual keys to (random??) hiragana characters. I can't win.

AAAAAAA
