Tell you what, it felt really fucking good to do something real and measurable to show up for trans people today. I got a lot of disapproving looks and scowls from a lot of cranky old white men and I did what I've gotten very good at in recent years, and made myself as big as I could, smiled, and gave a lot of direct, intense eye contact back at these slimy fucks. I am proud of myself and grateful for my friends (all cis and straight) who joined me.
