What to do with #leftover #rice ? I've always fried it, until today trying a #sweet #dessert for the first time.
I won´t bother you with a photo, cause it`s #chocolate coloured.
200g rice, cooked
50g dates
50g full fat cocoa milk
2-3 heaped tablespoons carob powder (sub with cocoa powder and sweetener of choice)
pinch of salt
pinch of chinese five spice powder.
Warm water

Throw everything into the blender, dilute with water as per gusto.

For Christmas our family had a failed gingerbread tiramisu; the vegan mascarpone hadn't incorporated properly, so it had globs of neutral coconut "mascarpone" spread inside it.
Ended up turning it into a parfait by homogenising it completely and adding some whipped cream and more of the vegan mascarpone and freezing it in a mold. Turned out alright.
