Given how much we overscoped on complexity of our tax collection game, these are surprisingly decent #LudumDare58 results.
Seems like our #LudumDare58 game is giving our game designer quite a head scratcher. He's still figuring new things out and tweaking the numbers 3 days after the end of the jam.
Given that we usually immediately drop the project after hitting submit, I guess simulating an entire economy has given him enough motivation to keep working on it.

It's interesting to see how despite only 300 fewer entries in #LudumDare58 than in #LudumDare57, the homepage feed felt a lot more dead than what I'm used to from previous iterations of the jam.

Day 1 of #ludumdare58 done, we have terrain generation working and a surprising amount of the economy simulation as well.
Tomorrow's plan is a ton of balancing and further simulation of environment changes based on the economy.
