Here be dragons: Preventing static damage, latchup, and metastability in the 386

I've been reverse-engineering the Intel 386 processor (from 1985), and I've come across some interesting circuits for the chip's input/outpu...

Off to boston for #latchup. Hopefully the weather is better there :D

Just added a venue for Latch-Up 2024 on the event page. https://fossi-foundation.org/latch-up/2024

Thanks MIT (https://web.mit.edu/) and WIT (https://wit.edu/) for hosting us.

Latch-Up 2024: April 19-21, 2024 in Cambridge, MA, USA

The Latch-Up conference is a weekend of presentations and networking dedicated to free and open source silicon. It's an event for the open source digital design community, much like its European sister conference ORConf, run by the FOSSi Foundation. Latch-Up 2024 is from Friday to Sunday April 19-21, 2024 in Cambridge, MA, USA.

Minimax goes to Santa Barbara! A presentation from #FOSSI #Latchup 2023. (Many thanks to everyone who organized and attended.)

Just arrived in sunny Santa Barbara for #LatchUp, a FOSSI event focussing on open source silicon.

Excited (and, truthfully, a little nervous) for my first FOSSI event! The line up seems extremely technical and I am sure I'll find it challenging at times, but I'm going to learn a lot.

Say hi if you're there too!

I was sad to miss #supercon but I'm excited for #OSDA ( https://www.date-conference.com/workshop/w04 ) as well as #latchup ( https://www.fossi-foundation.org/latchup/ ).

Any other open source centric events I should know about?
