Working on a (lap)blanket, made with Tunisian crochet.

The blanket will be made in a log cabin style, with new parts added to the sides going around the center part (the gray area was the first block that was done.

It's a simple stitch pattern alternating the simple stitch with a twisted knit stitch that get staggered on the next row.

The blanket will be nicely thick due to how Tunisian crochet works and hopefully it will also be nice and soft after a bit steam treatment (it is an acrylic yarn I am looking to reduce stash of).

Tunisian crochet is great for stash busting, it does eat a fair bit more yarn then both knitting and regular crochet does (for most stitch patterns at least).

My lap blanket made out of Tunisian crochet stitch pattern samples is nearly done.

I only have the tiresome, and boring, work of weaving in ends left, and attempt some kind of blocking of the blanket.

It's wonky and I love it. All squares are the same number of stitches and rows, but the different patterns build height/width differently.

The pattern that got me in trouble. This is square number 45 on the blanket.
As a #lapBlanket it has a good size now, so I'll have to give it a thought when I have done this row on how to continue, start doing the border or add another row of squares.
