welp.
Our latest Daily Lab Note is out - covering the latest in fitness and nutrition science. Groundbreaking find: training with full range of motion or lengthened partials delivers identical muscle growth and strength-endurance gains as conventional methods. Also: a new waist-to-height index beats BMI for predicting heart disease risk, and we’re debunking that viral diet video with hard evidence. Stay science-smart. #LabNotes #FitnessScience #EvidenceBased
Our latest Daily Lab Note is out - covering the latest in fitness and nutrition science. New research reveals processed meals cause your body to burn 9.7% fewer calories after eating compared to whole-food equivalents. Why? Less digestive effort, lower fiber, and faster absorption mean more calories get stored. Whole foods keep your metabolism working harder — and that’s a good thing. Eat real. Burn more. #LabNotes #FitnessScience #EvidenceBased
Our latest Daily Lab Note is out - covering the latest in fitness and nutrition science. New research reveals a brain circuit that suppresses appetite in mice, whole-food cheese sandwiches boost post-meal calorie burn by 90% compared to processed ones, and the link between heme iron in red meat and colon cancer remains weak. Stay informed with science that matters. #LabNotes #NutritionResearch #EvidenceBased
Our latest Daily Lab Note is out - covering the latest in fitness and nutrition science. New research challenges old assumptions: short-term trans fats from dairy don’t impair endothelial function, even if they raise LDL. Frailty independently spikes heart disease risk by 80%. And processed meals? They don’t deliver significantly more net calories than whole foods. It’s time to update the narrative. #LabNotes #NutritionResearch #EvidenceBased
Our latest Daily Lab Note is out - covering the latest in fitness and nutrition science. New research reveals low-carb diets boost calorie burn after weight loss, while common spices have minimal effect on appetite. Meanwhile, a gentle, home-based sensory program significantly reduces anxiety for parents of preterm infants — a powerful, non-dieting breakthrough. Science that cuts through the noise. #LabNotes #NutritionResearch #EvidenceBased
Lab Report #5513: These daisy clips survived our high-vibration stress test. The lab finally smells like a meadow instead of chemicals. Brenda tried to "pollinate" one with a pipette. Total steal at €10.87 (was €26.25). 5.0★ performance! 🌼 #CarDecor #LabNotes
Our working theory is to limit the mental map we are facilitating into a 1.5D kind of dimensional space. The tree with its nodes one can follow linearly (so not fully 2D) plus a separate layer consisting of a fixed set of arguments to navigate and manipulate the tree via dynamic options at respective nodes. Kind of an on-demand meta-info-modal.
If this reads like something you have seen before, kindly point me towards that research or concept.
RT and discussion welcome. Thanks!
One incentive for management to invest in LLM(-agents) is how a change in technology shifts the paradigm of responsibility:
IT used to be a deterministic system with a transparent relation between input and output. When something goes wrong it is possible to look for a cause in the code and it is clear who bears responsibility for unwanted outcomes. Not with LLMs.
A shift towards probabilistic technology offers a way to obfuscate responsibility.
