Why it matters:
Curriculum confusion isn't just bureaucratic hair-splitting — it undermines classroom consistency and trust in public schools. Voters need clear answers and accountable leaders, not opaque meetings and mixed messages.
Why it matters:
These rules cut the middleman’s power to force unfair fees and opaque practices, protecting community pharmacies and keeping prescriptions affordable. The absurdity was letting PBMs set the terms; Kansas just said no.
I used to live in #Lawrence, #KS when I was in grad school. There’s a street that runs the length of the “old” part of town (Mass Street). I don’t know what it’s like now, but back then It was filled w/stores, restaurants, cafes, breweries, & even a couple live music venues. It had broad sidewalks, trees, twinkle lights, benches, and buskers. When I needed a break from studying, I loved going there and just walking up one side and down the other. I miss it, what a special place.
