In Welsh folklore, the young warrior Culhwch went to ask his uncle King Arthur for help in finding the maiden Olwen. When Arthur's porter refused to let Culhwch into the castle, the warrior threatened to yell so loudly that every pregnant woman in Arthur's court would miscarry from shock.
