This is nuts. I can buy 5 double sided PTH PCBs with solder mask and silk screen, for £1.60. With postage and custom fees, it comes to a total of £3.18. Economies of scale and automation gone mad. It almost makes me feel guilty to get them this cheap.

Hi Guys. I had a couple of questions. Is there a way to revert a filleted track? It seems like a one way operation and if you need to make any adjustments after its a rip it up, route it again and then curve it which is pretty frustrating for fine tuning. The second question relates to filleted tracks and tear dropping. You have here the normal 45 degree traces into pins with tear drops. When I then fillet the trace it appears like below Then when I go to edit tear drop to get it to ...

Ich habe ein Problem mit #kicad 8. ich will ein Drecksignal in der #Simulation erzeugen. Aber der negative Teil wird einfach nicht erzeugt. Habe ich ein Fehler in der Signal Beschreibung.

As I'm wrapping up my first project with #kicad8 , the overall impression is positive. There are still a couple of idiotic things in there to be encountered, but overall (and as of v8 in particular), it has managed to completely nullify my need for Eagle.

I'm not saying this lightly. I've been waiting for this moment since v4.

I also tried to have #OSHpark bid my #PCB fabrication.

Their website claims to support #KiCAD files directly, but it choked because I'm now on #KiCAD8 , which was released about a week ago.

They also wanted more for 3 pieces (with soldermask only available in their trademark purple) than I paid for 8 pieces (in my choice of color) through one of my old favorites, Colorado's #AdvancedCircuits ( 4pcb.com ).
