Привет! Этот проект стал для меня важным шагом в мир embedded-разработки: первое устройство с полностью собственной печатной платой, спроектированной с нуля в KiCad. Я новичок в проектировании PCB-устройств, так что могу ошибаться в некоторых нюансах. Получилась миниатюрная игра на реакцию для двух игроков на базе ATmega328P.

Keyboard plate WIP c:

Mostly dithering on the solder mask. I did not have many options and did not want to block RF by adding copper to anything but the border.
I am not sure if the PCB print will have all the details, let's see.

The GameBoy cart PCBs arrived earlier this week and they look so nice. The RP2040 portion all appears to work perfectly, was able to load the binary with no issues, which is a relief. Now I need to go through and update the EEPROM flashing code to match the final pin out and hope my address decoder circuit actually works correctly. Fingers crossed

TFW when you're ALMOST done routing traces on a PCB... because there's one nasty one left and you're too tired to figure out a path for it.

Advantages of ordering a custom #PCB :

- staying away from corrosive #chemicals
- solder mask
- great quality

Advantages of etching your own:
- being able to make 3 consecutive mistakes, find an fix them in a single day

The best choice probably depends on how easily distracted you are...
