Has anyone used #ParcelUp to ship #Taobao components directly to #JLCPCB using their (JLC's) "consign parts" mechanism? With #PCBWay having their #PayPal meltdown and insisting everyone use #Payoneer instead I'm looking for possible alternatives but there are some parts that are just infeasibly expensive from JLC's parts suppliers, and the Taobao option seems like a decent solution...

uh oh. #pcbway stopped to accept sensible payment methods (at least for me; reached out to support, so let's see), and #jlcpcb is failing automated quoting. i guess it's a good moment to do a new round to see what's the current state of low volume #pcb manufacturing in europe. if you folks have any experience or hints to share i would really appreciate it! #diy #electronics.

When is a PCBA reorder not a reorder?

When JLCPCB doesn't like their own panelization "the fiducials are near the slots, which will be damaged when molding, and affect SMT" 🤷.

Well, I think I'm done with the circuit and PCB design for my #NeXT #SoundBox mini. But before I order the whole thing from #JLCPCB, I'll sleep on it and check everything again tomorrow. Better safe than sorry. 😃

FFS #JLCPCB

Sorry - for non techies, this is called a dry joint - the (silver) solder is on the circuit board, and you can see the (yellow) copper on the component, and a line between on those pins. The solder should "wick" up the copper and make a clean joint, this does not, and so does not work.
