Eastern Ukraine:

Russian forces conducted localized offensive operations near Bakhmut on December 16 and recently made a confirmed advance. Geolocated footage published on December 16 indicates that Russian forces advanced north of #Khromove (immediately west of #Bakhmut).

Quick Sitrep #Bakhmut area

Russians are progressing day after day.on the axis between #Bohdanivka and #khromove 50-60m / day rate of progress is steady.
it seems that Russian have now reach part of the famous road that is going from Chasiv Yar to Bakhmut.

Also some Ru moves toward #Klyshiivka - situation is quite difficult now but still under control. Ru have not seized heights yet. Also losing many "pax" now...

2/ more concerning :
actually we are witnessing a constant and total progress (no back and forth, not decreasing, not dispersing forces, and with strong support) in the area of North #Bakhmut
so this is a real concern there as it seems to be confirmed that the famous outskirt small residential area of #khromove has been seized by RU forces.

3/ ensuite pour les petites avancées vers #Vodiane (N #Pervomaiske) ou qq autres points vers Bakhmut (NW) j'expliquerai demain (attention pas de progressions dans la foret pres de #Khromove c'est encore un ajustement de qq ploucs en retard sur les geoloc), mais à nouveau... donc...
en l'état, rien de fou... donc : "il n'y a pas le feu au lac" !

et dernier point... j'avais aussi "senti le truc venir" pour les attaques le long du Dniepr
il n'y a rien de concret en l'état... comme depuis 6 mois

2/ Situation is evolving everyday right now in #Bakhmut though (i've explained this phenomenon to be expected as the area of "contact" is reduced, so the Ru strength are no more diluted on several kilometers. also Ukrainians have prepared line of defenses back on the field and it's gonna be a bit more difficult for Ru to advance in the open unless the flanks cannot hold.
i just don't know what is happening in the area of the city, south of #Khromove
so right now Ru are almost 100% in control

The last line of defense is based on three anchor points: the SW exit (Mig-17 square), the NW exit to #Khromove and the "Domino" fort in the west, towards which the 🇷🇺 are advancing 👇(the "Designer" fort fell as I predicted yesterday)

14/ because actually what will happen is that Ru are going to have a "salient" (saillant) for the first time if they still not manage to take the hill north #Khromove and the village itself, or will they (of course) try to make a pincer move to cut the UKR defense there from 2 positions.

same goes for the south of the city where need to secure some strong defensive positions even before thinking going directly to #Ivaniske

so that is going to be the points to check by next week,imo!
