@mysterydicegoblin My bard had been cursed—his body was changing and there was no going back. On a plane filled with wild magic, a wild magic effect would occur after any spell cast.

Cast spell. DM rolls. DM looks at chart. “No. Way.”
Can’t immediately see the results. Arcana check. Party member gets a nat 20.

It’s reincarnate.

“Kilsizzix. Trust me. Let us kill you!”
“Okay!”

And that was how my cursed goblin bard lifted the curse and became a tiefling.
