I got merged into the official #Jamulus main branch 🥳
This past month was a very educational one for me. Lots of things I had to do with git I had never done before and having code out in the wild reveals bugs I couldn't have found myself.
In the end there is now uncompressed audio for everybody to test and enjoy from the official #Jamulus repo in the `main` branch (and a soon to be released official beta)
Thanks to everybody involved, the main devs Tony, Peter and Jonathan, the contributors, the server admins and testers for all your feedback. 😍

Already 31 servers are running the experimental #Jamulus builds supporting uncompressed PCM audio transmission 🥳 ♥️ 🎧
I couldn't be happier about that and even more grateful for all the feedback from the users and code review from the developers I received so far.
But the more people use it, the more I wish for the bugs to vanish by themselves 🫩

For the last few days I made #Jamulus support uncompressed audio by circumventing the #OPUS coding in the client and server. The result is a completely noise-free Jamulus experience.

@rarepublic @FreakyFwoof Hopefully you'll find plenty more music where that came from. I post quite a bit from my #Jamulus sessions, from stuff I do on youtube with others, and just random compositions of my own occasionally.
sorry I had to respond from here, my main instance appears to be currently deadded.

🇫🇷 Et un peu de polishage de la mise à jour de la traduction en français de l'application #Jamulus et de son manuel. Parce quand on fait quelque chose, autant le faire bien !
J'en profite pour remercier les 2 autres personnes qui ont contribué à cela dernièrement, car c'est chouette, motivant, et plus efficace de travailler à plusieurs !
