Bei den Nürnberger Nachrichten hat auch jmd. geschlafen bei der Programmierung des Registrierungs Formulars 🙄

Wenn die Hausnummer einen Buchstaben enthält, dann bekommt man plötzlich alle Zeitungen zur Auswahl und er sagt immer, dass man außerhalb der es Zustellbereichs wäre.
Dabei würde eine reine Prüfung der Postleitzahl schon völlig ausreichen 🤷

Work IT, 11:15am: We have determined that the network connection is not a cybersecurity incident. It is caused by a Microsoft update being rolled out to hundreds of laptops simultaneously accidentally DDOS'ing our wifi network.

(There is no ethernet in our office, only WiFi... They ripped all the cables out when they converted the floor plan into the battery chicken layout we have today)

I need to copy ~500GB of work files from my old work laptop to the new work laptop.

They're sitting two feet apart on my desk.

Thanks to IT policies, I have to upload that 500GB to an Azure file share in a data centre somewhere, then download it again to the new laptop.

Pinterest Fail

Das ist was für @MacLemon und @leyrer

Da versucht man seinen Pinterest-Produktkatalog mit Umlauten, wie "ä" einzureichen.

Bei Pinterest geht dadurch etwas im Backend kaputt und es wird anstatt "ä" einfach "� REPLACEMENT CHARACTER" verwendet.

Deutsch ist aber auch eine schwere Sprache für eine amerikanische Firma.
