@John_Loader @spxme @kibcol1049 and while you are right about not having the media chops, I feel that was mostly due to deliberate sabotage (cf. #ItWasAScam).

My beef is that he was far too naive as a leader, and either refused to take action against those who plotted against him or failed to realise such opposition existed.

@tartley Some might say he was. After all, it's fairly broadly acknowledged now that #ItWasAScam to say Corbyn was anti-semitic. (See "Weaponising Antisemitism" by Asa Winstanley, for example).

Getting Starmer into the leadership was a planned operation, and the more that becomes known about Morgan McSweeney's role in events the more obvious that becomes.

Basically "loyal" Labour supporters have been taken for a complete ride, and many (I left) still believe in Starmer.

IMHO it seemed to be very much a smear campaign, especially given the overhyped way is a blown up in the press and the way Corbyn was treated during interviews.
Compare it with the way the racist clown Johnson was idolised by the same intervewers and given such an easy ride by the press.
