I think this article came across as a bit deaf to the voices of protest on the Left. And I don't think it will help future unity to keep ignoring them and acting like they don't exist.
True, protestors refusing to vote for Kamala (especially in swing states) will only be helping Trump, which is zero help to the #Palestinians in the end. And I do personally think Harris is their best chance, having offered them an olive branch (albeit a small one) in her #DNC acceptance speech.
But there are those voices on the left who are very upset that no one in any place of leadership seems to be condemning the #Isreali #genocide in #Gaza. THEY do not feel like a part of this supposedly "unified" Democrat party, and declaring them to be so only pushes them away more.
If you want to count them as part of your group, then make sure to acknowledge they are standing right outside your Big Tent and invite them to come under it with you.
