The okra is blooming! It’s my first year interplanting okra and peppers. #Gardening #GrowYourOwn #Interplanting
Up before dawn to drive out to Good Steward farm to help stretch plastic over the long tunnel we put up two weeks ago. I live on a mesa at the foot of the front range of the Rockies. The farm is straight East, on the high plains, flat and windy. This work is reciprocity; we are cultivating, connecting ourselves not just through the market but through work. Yesterday a grant @jenileighharris wrote with a grassroots food pantry, with farmer support, came through. #interplanting
