Does anyone know why loginctl kill-session would not work correctly with elogind? All other command (suspend, reboot, shutdown) seem to work fine but for some reason it can’t kill my session

I've been using my laptop quite a bit the past few days, since I've been away from home where my desktop machine is.

I'm currently running CachyOS with Xfce on my laptop. I kinda want to try something a little different, but without systemd.

The options I'm looking at are:

• Alpine Linux
• Artix Linux
• Chimera Linux
• Void Linux
• FreeBSD

And if I go with Artix Linux, the options I'm looking at are dinit or OpenRC. I kind of don't care for runit all that much. I mean it's a good init system, but I find it too bare bones for my preference. I've never used S6 so I don't have an opinion on it.
