So I finally broke down and downloaded a password manager on my phone.

Spent over an hour loading it with all the accounts I've been keeping written down at my desk at home, so I'd have a digital version to take with me everywhere.

Then I went to work, and promptly forgot the master password.

But it's all good, because I had it written down ... at my desk ... at home.

Nay... when the rootless ssh session terminates... so does the stack...
Apparenty its buried somewhere in the docs, but, who has time to read docs? /shrug

Here is the fix;

sudo loginctl enable-linger $USER

So a follow up for routine bloodwork (I am so grateful for insurance) and there was a new APRN to the practice.

Nice woman, personable, and she had studied my file pretty well. Asked about any issues---I have had some soreness in my palm just above the wrist, so narrowing out reasons why it could be carpel tunnel.

Her: Do you type a lot?

Me: Not really and I use only a few fingers. I mean I'm a "hunt and pecker."

Her: <utterly stone-faced>

Just great Steve...way to make a good first impression. 🙄

New Kitchen Injury: I attempted to put a bit of cayenne into a hot pan. I put it in my palm and did a wave over the pan to dust it evenly, but the heat of the pan blew it up into my face. #cooking #ImAnIdiot
