So a follow up for routine bloodwork (I am so grateful for insurance) and there was a new APRN to the practice.

Nice woman, personable, and she had studied my file pretty well. Asked about any issues---I have had some soreness in my palm just above the wrist, so narrowing out reasons why it could be carpel tunnel.

Her: Do you type a lot?

Me: Not really and I use only a few fingers. I mean I'm a "hunt and pecker."

Her: <utterly stone-faced>

Just great Steve...way to make a good first impression. 🙄
