This IKEA TRÅDFRI control outlet doesn't sound very happy. I had another do this flickering/chattering thing the other week. I wonder if it's a bad firmware update? I seem to have fixed it (for now) by cycling it a few times from the app with this circuit tester in it

Today I got my first couple of #ikeatradfri devices.
1x gateway
1x remote control
1x power outlet
1x ceiling lamp

These are my first #zigbee based devices and they are very different than my wifi devices to setup. I mean, why do I need to setup the remote with the outlet, to get the outlet to talk to the gateway? Does not make much sense to me.

But in any case, it works. Tomorrow I am going to try the ceiling lamp setup, which is very complicated in comparison it seems.
