On January 15, 2026, the self-proclaimed daughter, Anu Adeleke, took to social media from Ibadan to share an open letter addressed to the singer.
The post, which quickly gained traction online, detailed her desire to settle questions regarding her lineage as she transitions into her teenage years. This request, however, triggered a fierce rebuttal from the Grammy-nominated artist, who insists the matter was settled years ago with scientific proof.
The singer’s furious response

According to the singer, five separate DNA tests have returned negative results. He explained that to ensure transparency, he selected three independent hospitals while the girl’s family chose two others.
”After 5 DNA test … she Dey craze,” Davido wrote, expressing his anger at the persistent allegations. He advised the mother and daughter to desist from harassing him and to focus their search for her biological father elsewhere. Despite these challenges, Anu noted that she has excelled academically, serving as a class prefect in her secondary school.
