Controllo congiunto ADM, Guardia di Finanza e ARPA blocca spedizione illecita
Circa 20.000 kg di rifiuti speciali, pericolosi e non, destinati alla Nigeria sono stati sequestrati nei giorni scorsi dai funzionari dell’Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli di Palermo insieme ai Finanzieri del I Nucleo Operativo Metropolitano e agli ispettori dell’ARPA Sicilia.
L’operazione rientra nel quotidiano dispositivo di controllo sulle merci in esportazione, volto a prevenire traffici illeciti e a tutelare l’ambiente. Durante la verifica della documentazione doganale, i funzionari hanno riscontrato incongruenze che hanno portato a un controllo fisico approfondito della merce.

Joint ADM control, Guardia di Finanza and ARPA block illegal shipment
Approximately 20,000 kg of special, hazardous and non-hazardous waste destined for Nigeria were seized in recent days by officials from the Customs and Monopolies Agency of Palermo, together with Finanzieri (Financial Police) from the I Metropolitan Operational Nucleus and ARPA Sicilia inspectors.
The operation falls within the daily control of goods in export, aimed at preventing illicit trafficking and protecting the environment. During the verification of customs documentation, officials found inconsistencies that led to a thorough physical inspection of the goods.
