A morning of hydro-dipping.

This set ("Wild Magic") was an interesting one. The dice were double-cast - that is, we started with blank dice, applied a decoration, then cast them in regular moulds to seal the decoration in.

For decoration, the blanks were hydro-dipped. This is a process where drops of a special ink are placed onto the water surface. The blank die is then lowered carefully into the water and the ink transfers onto it.

You can end up with some really cool effects with this method!

I made an art today! #hydrodipping I am going to try and seal this and then add a photo transfer on top. Not sure if it will work but failure IS an option when you art! #failbeautifully
This was a solid white spray paint can cap. And then we hydro-dipped it! #hydrodipping
Look how great this little mini SUP came out! #hydrodipping I made an art!
In between first and second dips, it looks so good in person! That second looks absolutely awesome! #hydrodipping
