Tanya Bub is an #EcoArtist who creates #sculptures of animals and people from #FoundWood and #RecycledMaterials. A signature feature of her work is making inanimate objects appear to be so alive that is it almost impossible to resist the feeling that there is a living being present.
This piece of art is called, Sitting With Grace - created in 2023.

Local driftwood artist and humanitarian Tanya Bub has a history of attaching causes she believes in to her art exhibits and draws inspiration from them in order to make meaningful pieces that directly influence positive change in Victoria.
As we move into winter, we will be working with our friends The Lockon and Cambridge Community Kitchen to make sure we have warm winter supplies ready for unhoused people in our community. We're doing this because we often find that people come to these organisations for warm clothes and supplies, and we want to be more organised and ready to help this year.
We’re expecting to focus on providing waterproof coats, warm blankets, hygiene products, snacks and bags to keep things dry. We would love help in the form of:
- donations of money so we can buy nice new bags, foil blankets etc
- donations of warm clean (ideally new) hats, socks etc (home-crafted welcome!)
- donations of time to organise stuff and possibly pack things into bags
- thoughts and suggestions from anyone with experience
