I also wrote manuals for #HiSoftPaint, #HighSpeedPascal and #ProFlight. It was a point of pride at #HiSoft that products came with a chunky user manual, which added perceived value as well as being a useful reference. As the guy in the video points out, now you just look things up on the internet!

Unfortunately, fool that I am, I left all of my 3” disc games behind. All I have is a copy of #Tasword (late 1980’s word processing anyone?) and a copy of #HiSoft #Pascal! Anyone for an hour of word processing on a yellow screen with a tiny font, or perhaps a fun few minutes coding in a late 80's Pascal compiler?! Not quite Jet Set Willy! #retrocomputing #sinclair #zxspectrum

I don't remember having seen this before. It's a disassembler of #Z80 binaries; a programme written in Pascal that comes in source form with the HiSoft Pascal distribution for the ZX Spectrum. Super interesting!

I'm wondering what happens if I attempt to disassemble a binary written in assembler by hand, whether you get a functionally equivalent Pascal programme from that. Or anything at all.
