#Gardens in the #Cotswolds (2). Our visit to #Hidcote Manor Garden was one of the highlights of this week. This Arts & Crafts garden was designed by the American L. Waterbury Johnston (1871-1958). With his 'chambers' he inspired Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson of Sissinghurst. #gardening

Today, we visited Hidcote Gardens in Gloucestershire to see an exhibition of flowers-on-tulle by artist Olga Prinku (https://www.prinku.com/hidcote). Having admired the intricate artwork, we spent the rest of the afternoon wandering the beautiful gardens that inspired the artist.

HIDCOTE — Dried Flowers on Tulle Embroidery

Dried Flowers on Tulle Embroidery
Last weekend we went to the garden at #Hidcote, a famous "arts and crafts" garden in the Cotswolds, for a bit of inspiration for our own plot, plus a nice walk. Next week I'm going to be breaking and moving about 5 tonnes of concrete and brick path, plus a tonne or two of gravel, so we can seed some grass and expand the beds a bit. Going to be fun... Anyway, here's a flower. #bloomscrolling
