/actual random fact below

I used to be very sporty, and that has lead to me having broken my nose approx ten times. It used to be s-shaped, until break number 10 ;)

#HeyPlanet @nuhn Random fact:

When I was a little girl, I liked to nest in my bed, except instead of surrounding myself with cushions or teddies, I walled myself in with stacks of books.

#heyplanet  tell me one random fact about yourself.

I'll go first: whenever I'm in a forest or awesome nature, I get an instantly desire to play larp.

#heyplanet - if folks on #tootplanet are having trouble with the browser interface just now, try https://pinafore.social/ and log in via that. I've just tried it and it works. Also Tusky et al are fine as you probably know already.

#HeyPlanet good things!

I just got another three book audiobook narration job and it's a huge mix of excitement and relief. I'm a proper professional narrator now getting booked up in advance!

#HeyPlanet Good things. 🤔

I caught new pokemon in PokeGo today! And I got the little  mentions thing to work.

And I have been having fun with my coding project, although it took until last night for me to remember that session variables are a thing, cough.

Or afternoon or evening wherever you are on this weird blue sphere.

It's a horrible grey morning here and I'm feeling blech. I'll try and tick all the non energetic stuff off my list today. Stuff I can just do with a laptop on the sofa.

Maybe set up the stream deck and figure out how I can use it with my creative software.

Anyone here ever had to deliver a talk about your creative work? How did you tackle it? I've been asked to do a ten minute talk at a photography exhibition in less than a month and suddenly it's like all my insight into my own work has disappeared. Incredibly stressy about it.

Every time I look at screen my mind goes blank. Maybe I need to go to pen and paper first...

Just saying hello to my new home. Toot.planet

Hi everyone, I'm coming over from mastodon.social which has been great bt i think it's time to move somewhere less frantic.

I'm a photographer and have had a couple of exhibitions over the years. Including this one: https://www.christi.photography/the-bridges

Currently researching a new long term project. But also love gaming and am addicted to the podcasting process. Also doing a journalism course to try and get some editorial gigs.

The Bridges by Christi MacPherson

It's a strange thing being the troll (the fairytale type, not the internet type) that lives under the bridge. Stranger still when you live under two bridges. About 17 years ago I was one of them. I lived in the coastal village of North Queensferry in Fife, right on the coast of the Firth of Forth in Scotland; and right between the world renowned Forth Rail Bridge, and the stalwart, recently demoted, Forth Road Bridge. Living in their shadows for several years, seeing it reflected in windows, on the water, even reflected in our TV screen, seemed to trigger something in me. I started to think about different ways of seeing the bridges, different ways to show people how I saw them; and that was absolutely nothing like the traditional sunset tourist shots which populate every tourist shop in the area.

Skirts for every day of the week

A cat castle
