I write fantasy with warmth and weirdness.

Writer, narrator, gamer, dungeon master.

It turns out that I am a weird person on the internet.

Autism, anxiety, and awkwardness.

Okay all! I am not completely sure of Misskey at the moment, so I'm going to move my main to @vicorva for the time being and see how I get on (especially seeing as so many of my awesome tootfriends are from there).

Setting up the account redirect now. ^_^

Still too ill to do much of anything. But! I'll be moving instances soon! I'll sort it out properly when I can access a PC, but please do follow me on @vicorva where I will eventually be making my home.

is migrating and since I love everything about it, of course I am going with it. :)

Hey all, so part of our roof caved in recently and we gotta get it fixed before we get heavy winter weather, plus I'm looking to buy a new car. So, fundraising ahoy!

I have nothing to do today except fall into a Dandelion/Geralt hole and that is what I'm doing
I am.

Good morning  and tootfriends!

Today I wish you something reassuring. ✨

The familiar has been sitting on me since I got home.

If I shift position, he follows. So we've had chest, hip, shoulder, and now foot.

He's a good little guy.

This is why I can't work. There was a lot of stimuli and a situation I didn't have enough control over. That wears on ne FAST, and experience has taught me it won't get better over time. Even though I enjoyed it.

Gonna see how well I recover and make a decision.

Sorry it isn't a more positive update. I knew going in this was a possibility. :(

So it was great. Lovely shop, friendly team, and I pretty much knew what I was doing right away. Even chatted a bunch with the really lovely manager.

More complicated is the question of whether I can go back. I liked it. But it put a huge strain on me. Came home ill and exhausted after just 2 hours. I've somehow lost my voice on top of that. And I'm very, very stressed.

Successful trial session at the charity bookshop. Very very tired, will report back when I get home!
