Ed BridgesAmidst all the UK calls for more military spending, here’s a suggestion: perhaps those in favour of it can start a crowdfunder and raise money for missiles that way? And we can then focus public spending on butter not guns.
Sadly, I've not seen that conflict of interests mentioned in ANY of the media reports, and nor have I seen any airtime being given to peace organisations or others who might want to put the (perfectly reasonable and coherent) case AGAINST greater military spending.

In news that will surprise LITERALLY NO-ONE, a knowledgable insider has said that "Britain’s system for controlling arms exports is broken, subject to political manipulation and has seen conduct that crossed the threshold into complicity with war crimes".
If you're buying or selling weapons, you're making the world a worse place.
