JKrotkovAs a #Quaker I've thought about this deeply over the years. Some Friends say that broadening the definition of violence from physical harm to other kinds of harm is a distraction/red herring/false flag.
While "economic violence" seems wrenchingly apt, it also focuses the discussion on whether or not the terms go together.
I'm interested in the concept of moral injury, and how unfettered capitalism creates it in all actors/participants.

I'm Viv (she/it) and I'm an #author, #writer and hobbyist #gamedev etc who is currently studying #theology in its freshman year of college (I'm a late-in-life-learner; about to turn 25.) Gay as hell, #Quaker as hell, #Autistic as hell, and love women.
I write a lot of fiction about dissociation, disability, and mental illness/PTSD, as well as a Lot of #sciencefiction and sci-fi horror. I'm currently working on several short stories and am outlining a #lesbian novel and a memoir as well. I make twine and bitsy games for fun in my spare time, but I haven't finished any yet.
Other hobbies I have include web development, #selfhosting, #RaspberryPi, and general #tech stuff (firmly anti-AI). I enjoy pretty much every form of creativity; trying to get into #embroidery, #jewelrymaking and #handquilting too!
