I get it. I miss being a kid when snow just meant playing in the yard, building a snowman, snowball fights. A parent there to deal with the tough stuff. I don't particularly like being an adult either.

But I am an adult. And like a fucking adult I know I have to suck it up and do adult things. Wishing for some authoritarian daddy to make me feel small -- and somehow safe again -- is just delusional bullshit.

This is very good answer to the question of what you will be if you grow up. And the best thing is: You still can be outrageously happy when getting older. It's never too late.
