So want to point out a little success I had today. Which shows me something.

As many of you know, Google is trying to cram Gemini down our throats via adding it to workplace, but I mentioned that it was getting annoying (before they got on the implementation bus) and soon other people in my company started getting annoyed by it. And now the ops leaders are going to have a discussion to turn it off.

This showed me that every little bit of resistance, even if it seems silly and fruitless could mean a lot as it will lessen demand a little bit for Gemini's bullshit.

So never give up.

I don't use any #Google accounts for mail anymore, but I do check an old one occasionally. Today I found an email from Google from a few days ago warning me that they were going to delete an old account of mine. It seems perfectly legit, I haven't used that account in ages, and it was sent to a recovery email address.
And placed in Gmail's spam folder :-)
