Time In is a 1966 studio album by Dave Brubeck, the last of Brubeck's 'Time' series.

The Absolute Sound's Jeff Wilson wrote: "This 1965 release ended the Dave Brubeck Quartet’s series of time-themed albums, the most famous being 1959’s Time Out, which contained the ever-popular 'Take Five'. Time In was also one of the final records by a much-loved quartet that included Paul Desmond on alto saxophone. With more than two dozen albums behind them by the time this album was recorded, was the foursome a spent force? Definitely not—and, in fact, one listen to Time In will dispel any notions of the quartet as 'polite jazz'. Dave Brubeck in Berlin is a 1965 live album by Dave Brubeck recorded at the Berliner Philharmonie in Berlin. The album was only released on LP in Germany, after having been recorded for radio broadcast by WDR Cologne.

The album was reviewed by Ken Dryden at Allmusic who wrote that "[Paul] Desmond is witty as usual in "St. Louis Blues," though Brubeck adds an amusing Charlie Parker lick in his solo and bassist Eugene Wright also shines." Dryden wrote that Brubeck's "economical solo" on "Koto Song" "...contrasts with his supposed reputation for heavy-handed playing. Dave Brubeck Quartet, 1960 Essen Grugahalle, 2010 on Jazzline

Brubeck with Paul Desmond, Gene Wright, and Joe Morello, recorded live in Essen Germany (at the Grugahalle) in 1960.

Jazzline is a German label, and has a series of “WDR Original Masters” recorded by the Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) which is basically West German NPR/PBS – a public service radio and TV broadcaster.

These are great professional recordings, remastered at WDR for release on 180g vinyl. Oddly on this one track B2 is labelled “Unkown Song’ but is clearly “These Foolish Things.”
