Vor 51 Jahren begann eine TV-Serie, die nicht nur weltweit die Bildschirme eroberte, sondern auch eine Sicht auf Krieg und Gesellschaft geformt hat. In diesem Rückblick tauche ich ein in die Welt von „M*A*S*H“ und frage mich, warum sie auch nach einem halben Jahrhundert noch täglich ausgestrahlt wird und ich immer noch einschalte. 1️⃣ It’s another episode with a strong guest character driving the action. And getting lots of the screentime.

2️⃣ Villains include #PhilipMichaelThomas (#MiamiVice) and #MichaelCole (#TheModSquad). Both good.

3️⃣ The plot is straightforward, but the script (by #AnneCollins) has some lovely touches: Burghoff’s character is a womanizer, the criminal mastermind has bugged the elevator to his penthouse, etc.
