Since I'm starting to lean into this whole journaling thing this year, I also decided to make a game journal to record my thoughts and progresses.

Dunno if it'll amount to something, but at least I'm putting that Splatoon 3 notebook I bought off from Nintendo to good use.

A journal from a solo ttrpg in which the connection between the bird and the word are explored.

Over a decade ago, a group of friends and I played together. Sadly, couldn't keep playing with them because of the real world. I had the privilege of adapting a few sessions of the campaign into a short story way back then. I just found that story and posted it here for you guys!
Alton was my character and he had an imaginary friend named Quiggley (or was he invisible to everyone else?)

Alton's Story

The blistering cold hit Alton in the face as soon as he passed through the portal. The winds at this altitude desperately tried to pull his furry cloak from his shoulders. The small clearing where the portal was centered was covered with thick snow. The nearby trees had icicles hanging from their branches and mounds of snow around their trunks. Looking out at the surrounding mountain ranges, this appeared to be only mountain with snow on it, though it was by far not the tallest one. The trees on the surrounding mountains had a nice thick layer of green leaves, while the trees here seemed dead and frozen.
