So, #Fuzion has three scales for attributes and characteristic-affecting attributes.
For ability tests (like skill checks), the scale is in multiples of 4: in realistic games, +1 attribute +3 skill; in heroic games, +2 attribute +2 skill; but either way, 4 more points is one more tier of results.
For power checks (like damage), the scale is in multiples of 5. 5 points of damage overcome one point of Body. 5 points of Flash is one round of blindness.
