Another two dug out from the archive! First in line was Flapper Pie, a vanilla custard in a crumb crust, topped with meringue. I’m kicking myself for not writing more about it, but I remember it being particular to the Canadian plains and made with pantry staples (vanilla pudding, cookies or graham crackers, and egg whites).
