Due to sleep disorders (among many other medical issues I juggle daily), it is vanishingly rare that I ever see a sunrise anymore, even in the winter when the sun rises *after* I manage to sleep. 😬
Was able to grab a pic of this lovely little ornamental #CrabApple with rain that I suspect had frozen as it landed, given the drops seemed like little bubbles that clearly were starting to melt and slough off as the sun hit them. ❤️
I'm having trouble capturing the extent to which every single branch and item outside is currently encapsulated in a layer of ice.
The #IceStorm and #FrozenRain in #Portland is pretty crazy right now, but I do not understand all the people saying it is unprecedented in scope or damage.
The storm in February 2021 had about twice the amount of ice sticking to trees and power lines, bringing them down all over the place.
Just hanging out, enjoying the (comparatively) balmy 32°F weather!
