1870s Orr pantaloon overall project in collaboration with Dean Hashimoto.

The characteristic front pockets with pocket bags made of the same denim. The raw edges are overlocked by hand.

The denim we're using for this first version is a roughly 10 oz kibata (not pre-shrunk) left-hand twill, which is quite hard to find. We're planning to also make a second version of even more special denim!

1950s Walker's Round Up Rider Pants
Staying with the front pockets, which have an extra piece of facing attached to the pocket entrance. This results in an interesting construction where the two pieces of facing meet and overlap, with the stitches crossing on the folded edge of the pocket bags.

1950s Roebucks-type jeans
One very distinguishing feature of these jeans is the unique front pocket design. I first thought that these might be rather inconvenient, but having worn one of the two pairs I made for a couple of days, I can say that they're actually quite comfortable and convenient for holding a smartphone.
