Found this beauty at Value Village today, just thought it was kinda neat. No idea if it works, if it does I'm welcome to idea for projects and fun things to try.
Anyone who knows anything about it is welcome to come forth as well, I know nothing about Digilent or their products.
After getting a basic ALU design done yesterday & starting a **very** rough start at a microcodeish thing, today the first design of the controlunit & overall cpu design comes together, so it can actually calculate an addition from two arbitary registers and store the result back into a register of choice! :3

#Retroputer #fgpa is actually executing instructions! A limited set, to be sure, but proof that the CPU is able to read both ROM & RAM to fetch an instruction, decode the instruction, handle "fixups" to account for some "fun" instruction sizes that are hard to encode, execute the instruction, including using the ALU and working with flags, and repeat that all again for the next instruction. Which means I can, yet again, make the world's most complicated counter! ;-)

Did you know you can use the Intel Quartus tool chain on macOS? Even if you have an M1 or M2 Mac??? I didn’t… but now I do. 🤯
